How it works
Four steps, and no entrance examination
Diksha Public School is affiliated to CBSE. KG to Class 8 follow the UP State Board syllabus and Classes 9 to 12 follow the CBSE syllabus, with English as the medium of instruction throughout. Around 50 children join KG every year, and seats in other classes open up from time to time. There is no entrance examination.
- 1
Collect the form
Collect the admission form from the front office. Bring the child's birth certificate, Aadhaar card and the parents' identification.
- 2
Meet the principal
The principal meets the family for about 30 minutes, usually within ten days of the form being collected. For KG and Class 1, a member of the Arya family also joins.
- 3
The child's interaction
The child has a short, friendly conversation with the teachers. From Class 3 onwards there is also a short written exercise. This is not an entrance examination.
- 4
Receive a decision
The school informs the family within a week. If a seat is offered, it is confirmed on payment of the first month's fee and the one-time admission fee.
